1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Restorative Hypnotherapy's website and services. By accessing this website and/or utilising our services, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our website and services.

2. Services

Restorative Hypnotherapy provides hypnotherapy services for personal development and wellness purposes only. Our services are not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment, and we do not diagnose or treat medical conditions. Clients should seek the advice of qualified medical or mental health professionals for any medical or psychological concerns.

3. Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about their medical and psychological history, including any medications or treatments they are currently undergoing. Clients must disclose any conditions or concerns that may affect their suitability for hypnotherapy.

4. Consent

Clients must provide informed consent before participating in any hypnotherapy sessions. By engaging our services, clients consent to the use of hypnosis techniques for the purpose of personal development and wellness.

Implied consent will be taken for each subsequent session based on continued bookings.

5. Commitment, Standards of Behaviour and Code of Conduct

I am registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register, The General Hypnotherapy Standards Council’s (GHSC) Registering Agency and I am a member of the Professional Hypnotherapy Practitioners Association.

Throughout your therapy sessions I will:

• Respect your dignity, individuality, and privacy and confidentiality (see Confidentiality)

• Act with honesty and integrity.

• Provide the best standard of hypnotherapy practice possible.

You as the client must agree to:

• Respecting the privacy and confidentiality of your therapist.

• Commit to engage in sessions, and to be motivated to gain the best results possible.

• Attend sessions on time and not under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.

If your conduct should breach these standards, then Restorative Hypnotherapy reserves the right to terminate the session and or refuse future sessions, without refund.

We also reserve the right to refuse treatment where we believe hypnotherapy is not an appropriate therapeutic intervention.

6. Punctuality

Clients are expected to attend your session punctually. If you anticipate attending late please contact Restorative Hypnotherapy.

In a delayed session start it may not always be possible to accommodate lost time and session may still have to finish at scheduled finishing time.  If the client is more than 15 minutes late to the sessions, it is at the discretion of Restorative Hypnotherapy whether the session can go ahead, if the sessions cannot go ahead, no refund will be offered.

7. Confidentiality

All client information and session content will be kept strictly confidential, except where there is a legal and moral obligation to disclose information to any relevant authorities, such as: 

• Where there is good cause to believe that failure to disclose information may result in harm to the client or another individual.

• Where child protection issues have been disclosed.

• Where a court case or order have demanded disclosure.

Restorative Hypnotherapy adheres to professional standards of confidentiality and privacy as set out in the GDPR.  No information will be passed on to any third parties without the clients express consent (for full details, see our Privacy Policy).

In order to meet Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and governing body requirements, anonymous case histories are sometimes discussed with peer support groups and supervisors. No personal details are shared.

8. Payment

Payment for services is due at the time of booking or as otherwise agreed upon. We accept payment via bank transfer. All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.

9. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Clients must provide at least 48 hours notice for rescheduling of appointments. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee.  No refund will be given for cancellations.

If an emergency requires Restorative Hypnotherapy to cancel your session, we will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible.

10. Liability

Restorative Hypnotherapy, its employees, and affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services. Clients participate in hypnotherapy sessions at their own risk.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Restorative Hypnotherapy and is protected by copyright laws. Unauthorised use of any materials from this website is prohibited.

12. Amendments

Restorative Hypnotherapy reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The updated Terms and Conditions will be posted on this website, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England & Wales.

14. Changes to Terms & conditions 

These terms & conditions are subject to revisions without notice. Please re-familiarise yourself with any amendments if you have restarted therapy after any period of absence.
